The Winter Craft Artist Seminar Will Be This Winter of 2009

The Winter Seminar portion of the Four Seasons Fine Art and Craft Markets is a way for artist and crafts people to get the right information to make their small, micro art/craft businesses grow. The name, formally the Mid-Atlantic Crafter Expo, has changed to not only encompass the Four Seasons theme, but to help better describe the style of event.

The Winter Seminar is only open to artists and crafts people seeking an easy way to learn how you can get a heads up on what is going on in the art and craft industry. This educational/business style event, again open to all artists and crafts people, is a great way to network with your peers as well as meet educational needs through workshop presentations and round table networking disccusions. Some of the topics, covered by people in the know in the industry will be:

Creating Displays to Stop Customers in Their Tracks

Sales/Marketing Techiniques You Can Take to the Bank

Choosing the Right Shows for You and Your Art/Craft

Saving Money and Cutting Costs To Increase Profits

During this one day event guests can expect to particpate in two presentations in the morning, followed by a light lunch with a round table networking opportunities, followed by two more presentations lasting a total of 6 hours with breaks throughout the day. The cost of the event will be approximately $50 which includes lunch.

The event is expected to be near the Baltimore, MD area and when the location is confirmed, with other updated information, it will be posted here on this website.
