Michelle is the promoter of the Four Season Markets along with her husband, Mark.
They have experience with promoting different types of events from church events
to the Mid-Atlantic Crafter Expo which was held in January of 2007. Michelle, a craft artist herself, started promoting Fine Art events after seeing first hand how some shows in the area haven't lived up to exhibitors expectations. Our motto is "Putting ART back into art and craft shows." With shows getting more and more expensive and attendance lower today than in past years, it is obvious something needs to change. Michelle and Mark started the Maryland Four Seasons Fine Art and Craft Market for several reasons:
1. Make shows more affordable for the artists, recognizing a shows progress starts with the artists.
2. Have higher standards for events and do everything possible to enforce rules and regulations.
3. Specifically advertise the event to a receptive audience of art enthusiasts/collectors of fine art and crafts.
4. Offer affordable admission with free parking and other incentives to encourage all to see that fine
art and crafts can be affordable and quality work is worth the price.
5. The location of the event must be easily accessible and have a reputation that encourages and nurtures the
Arts in the community.
6. Offer incentives to exhibitors to demonstrate that this event is for them and without them there is no show.
Promoting the quality of ones artistry and talent does not have to suffer to cheap imports, and mass produced
products from over seas countries. Keeping more money in everyone's pockets, advertise wisely, and hopefully
encourage other promoters to not just do more, but do better will add value to this show and allow it to grow
time and time again.
